About Courtside
Courtside is an online platform that connects players with sports venues and lets them reserve and pay for court time slots. We act as a booking intermediary between you and the venue; the court and on-site facilities are owned and operated by the venue, not by Courtside.
Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a booking.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate, current information when registering and when making a booking.
- You may not use Courtside for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose.
Bookings & payments
- Placing a booking is an offer to reserve the selected court for the selected date and time. A booking is confirmed only once payment is successfully completed.
- Prices are shown in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and include the amount payable for the selected slot. Availability and pricing are set by the venue and may change before you book.
- Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, PayHere. You authorise the charge for your booking to your chosen payment method. Courtside does not store your full card details.
- We may refuse or cancel a booking where there is a pricing or availability error, suspected fraud, or a breach of these terms.
Cancellations & refunds
Confirmed bookings are final and non-refundable except in the limited circumstances described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Use of venues
When you book a court, you agree to comply with the venue’s rules, opening hours, and reasonable instructions from its staff. The venue is responsible for the condition and safety of its facilities. You use the court and its facilities at your own risk.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform — including attempting to access accounts or data that are not yours, interfering with the service, making fraudulent bookings, or using the site in any way that is unlawful or harmful to others.
Intellectual property
All content and materials on Courtside — including text, logos, and graphics — are owned by Courtside or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property rights. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify them without our prior written consent.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Courtside is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform or your use of a booked court. We provide the platform on an “as is” basis and do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date. Your continued use of Courtside means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
